As of January 2018, Alyssa was named the CEO of Surgical Solutions by private equity firm Sterling Partners. Within six months, she was named one of Crain’s Chicago’s “Notable Women in Health Care” (June 2018), and made the list for a second year in a row in 2019. She was also been named one of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders by the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare in 2019. Starting in 2014, Alyssa joined the ranks as a lecturer-in-management at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business teaching a sold-out class annually on the Dynamics of the Global Wine Industry. As of June 2019, she was also named an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago’s Booth Business School. From 2005-2015, Alyssa served as the founder & CEO of Bottlenotes, Inc., the leading interactive media company in the U.S. wine, craft beer, and artisanal spirit industries. During the Bottlenotes years, Alyssa was named one of Inc. Magazine's “30 Under 30” coolest entrepreneurs in America (September 2008)” and routinely one of the wine industry’s top 25 of 100 most influential people by Intowine.com, from 2012 onward. Bottlenotes also received the “Best Advertising and Marketing Company” and the “People’s Choice Award” at the Empact 100 in September 2013 at the United Nations, honoring the top 100 companies with founders under 35. Starting in 2015, Alyssa has also served as the Managing Partner at AJR Ventures, a strategic advisory firm for Fortune 500, $500MM+ privately-held companies, and private equity firms on their new business unit/new market development, digital and e-commerce strategies. Alyssa earned a B.A. in Political Science and the History of Art from Yale University in 2000 and an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in 2005. At Yale, she earned the Frank M. Patterson prize for the best essay on the American political system for her senior thesis on public housing reform in Chicago. Alyssa is honored to have been appointed by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner in 2015 to serve a four-year term on the board of directors of the Illinois Housing Development Authority. She served on the organization’s audit committee with $1B of assets and $100MM operating expenses during her tenure. In November 2019, ForbesBooks released Alyssa’s second book entitled Leadership and Life Hacks: Insights from a Mom, Wife, Entrepreneur, and Executive. When not immersed in business and civic life, Alyssa loves to run track, do yoga, ski fast, and try as hard as possible to decipher a slider from a curve ball from her husband, 1990 MLB World Series champion and current partner at X10 Capital, Hal Morris. Alyssa and Hal are the proud parents of Audrey Margaret Morris and Henriette Daniella Morris.
Logan has a background in finance and accounting and spent the previous four years working in the finance department for Sterling Partners, a middle-market buyout private equity firm in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to that, he spent three years with EY’s assurance practices in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. Logan received a bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of Notre Dame. Logan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Tracy is Managing Partner of TYW Consultants, a consulting and advisory firm that provides services to businesses to improve financial and operation performance. Tracy brings her expertise in finance and operations to Surgical Solutions to drive, accelerate and implement the key initiatives to enhance results.
Chief Clinical Advisor
Tony Dawson is a highly regarded Senior Health Care Administrator. His success lies in evaluating operations, strategic planning, and in leading the development/implementation of short-and long-term goals. Tony is valued for his ability to identify and implement the initiatives necessary for regulatory requirements, including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, and the Department of Health. His career with New York-Presbyterian (NYP) Hospital spans 25-plus years; he most recently served as NYP’s SVP Chief Operating Officer and, prior to that, as the VP Clinical Operations for Milstein Hospital and Heart Center. Tony holds an MSN, in Nursing Administration from Hunter College, and a BSN, Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing, as well as a Diploma in General & Psychiatric Nursing from St. Michael’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Lisa is a skilled healthcare professional with 31 years of leadership experience at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas one of the nation’s largest and most renowned cancer centers. Most recently holding positions of Director of High Level Disinfection and Sterilization, Infection Control and Associate Director Perioperative Services, Sterile Processing and Materials Management Utilization. Her focus is a concentration in patient safety and regulatory compliance in sterile processing, materials management, infection control, value analysis, and vendor management. Her highly valued analysis and guidance focuses on identifying and implementing operating standardized procedures, training and competencies and improving decontamination and sterile environments for operating rooms, endoscopy suites and hospital clinics. She has held leadership roles in and has an established success record with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and The Joint Commissions accreditation processes. Lisa holds a BA in business administration and CRCST, CER certifications from the International Association of Healthcare Services Materials Management.

A professional, accomplished, and versatile communicator instilling customer confidence and promoting internal and external business relationships that have proven to fortify, drive, and sustain sales and market share while bolstering/growing Shareholder value.

Amy is a seasoned medical device executive with more than 25 years of experience who is passionate about high growth, complex medical markets, building teams and developing others to reach their potential. She has an undergraduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Amy has held various commercial positions of increasing responsibility from award-winning sales professional to leading a high performing team of more than 135 sales professionals as VP of Sales for both Regional and National sales forces.
VP of Business Development
Jodi Levine is an independent healthcare consultant, focusing on provider strategy, business development and managed care. With an undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Ms. Levine has held leadership positions with a focus on driving growth across both provider and vendor organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Gateway Foundation, the largest not-for-profit substance abuse provider in the US. In that role, Ms. Levine reported directly to the CEO, built infrastructure for scalability, and managed marketing, sales and payer contracting.
